How the repair is verified
Each motor is proved at our Chennai bench on the servo motor test system: insulation and hi-pot, winding balance, encoder feedback and commutation offset, brake release and holding, a no-load run and a load run. Speed and current are compared with the nameplate.

My servo motor in Hyderabad shows an alarm or does not run. What should I check first?
Switch off and lock out the power, note the alarm code and photograph the nameplate. Check the cable and connector, turn the shaft by hand (release the brake first on a brake motor) and look for oil, dust or burning. Do not keep restarting it. Why do I get a mismatch error after fitting a new servo motor of the same brand and kW?
The drive checks the motor series, encoder type, motor ID, voltage and speed, not just the kW. A motor with the same brand and kW can still differ in these, or its encoder may not be aligned, so the drive rejects it. See our mismatch error guide or send us the nameplates.
How should plants in Hyderabad maintain servo motors?
